Course overview
Students will learn to select components, install, set up, test, diagnose faults, repair, and maintain refrigeration and air conditioning equipment while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and environmental standards. The course also includes training in refrigerant handling, system efficiency optimization, and workplace safety, preparing graduates for a dynamic and in-demand career.
Upon successful completion, graduates will be eligible to apply for a Refrigerant Handling Licence through the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC), which is a legal requirement for working with refrigerants.
