Superior Training Centre is excited to announce the upcoming introduction of the CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry, marking an important new chapter in the continued growth of our trade training programs.
Carpenters play an essential role across Australia’s construction industry, working on residential, commercial and infrastructure projects. From building frameworks and installing structures to interpreting plans and completing detailed finishing work, carpentry offers a practical and rewarding career pathway for people who enjoy working with their hands and seeing the results of their work take shape.
The new carpentry program will be available to domestic students through different delivery pathways, including a hybrid delivery option and an apprenticeship pathway. This will allow students to choose a training structure that better supports their employment, experience and career goals.
The first group of carpentry students is expected to commence training at our Ingleburn campus between August and September 2026. As the program develops, STC also intends to expand carpentry training into other areas of Sydney, helping make quality trade education more accessible to students and employers across the region.
Built for the Construction Industry
The CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry is designed to develop the practical skills and technical knowledge required to work in the carpentry and construction industries.
Students can expect training focused on real trade applications, workplace safety, construction methods, tools, materials and the processes used to complete carpentry projects to Australian industry standards.
As with our existing electrical and air conditioning programs, the carpentry course will reflect STC’s commitment to practical training and industry-relevant education.
Expanding the House of Trades
The addition of carpentry represents another major step in STC’s mission to support Australia’s skilled workforce.
Superior Training Centre was created by tradespeople for tradespeople. By introducing carpentry alongside our established electrical and air conditioning and refrigeration programs, we are continuing to build a stronger training environment where students can access practical education across multiple trade industries.
We are excited to welcome the first group of carpentry students to Ingleburn and to begin developing new training opportunities throughout Sydney.
