Work commitments, family responsibilities, and financial pressures often make a traditional apprenticeship unrealistic. That’s why we’ve introduced a flexible blended delivery model for the UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and the UEE32225 Certificate III in Air Conditioning Refrigeration.
This delivery model is built for experienced workers who are already active in the industry and want to formalise their skills to meet Australian standards and licensing requirements. The theoretical components are delivered through our online learning platform, allowing students to study from anywhere in Australia and progress at their own pace. The more time and effort you dedicate, the faster you can move through the course.
Practical training and assessments are completed during scheduled block sessions at our campus. This approach allows students to focus on completing multiple practical units in a structured format while minimising time away from work. It provides flexibility without compromising competency standards.
Duration and costs
The program is self-paced, but students will be offered an 18-month training contract, which provides sufficient time to complete all requirements while continuing employment in the industry. This structure gives flexibility while ensuring students remain on track.
Tuition fees are $15,000 for the UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and $13,000 for the UEE32225 Certificate III in Air Conditioning Refrigeration. These programs are designed for experienced tradespeople seeking a nationally recognised qualification aligned with current Australian industry requirements.
To enrol, students must have a minimum of three years of industry experience and must be employed in the electrical or HVACR industry, or secure relevant employment as soon as possible. Workplace learning is a mandatory component of both qualifications and must be completed in a real work environment under appropriate supervision. This pathway is specifically designed for those who already possess substantial hands-on experience.
